Oh no~
Last entry already a month ago, and shown that I am both too lazy and too busy to write anything here. But remember, friends, this space will still exist. :-)
Better say a few words about my O'camp. Held 18 - 20 August on Cheung Chau (An out-laying island west to hong Kong Island), and my group of freshmen (Most of them as G&L lads, with one G&L guy, one General lad and one BA lad). I was extremely surprised and delighted to know that my group is extremely active and playful. I am not just impressed by their active participation, but also for their maturity and thoughtfulness. They were very aware of how they act in the camp, and in front of their fellow freshmen, especially the impression they would give to others. They are also very close amongst themselves. I am so proud for having heard comments like being so lucky to be the group-dad of such an active and a well-knitted group of freshmen. Moreover, I would never be as thoughtful as they had been when I was a freshman, and what I concerned is active participation in all activities in the camp. Moreover, they are also very concerned about how we, as organisers, feel. They sometimes also ask us not needing to go that far to fight for their interests, and have the heart to feel everything.
As a group-dad, I think I have played my role to a moderate degree, sometimes trying to ignite their passion in the games, not necessarily for the sake of victory, but also the feeling of togetherness. They are playing hard enough to their limit, and these are the qualities that we, as organisers, would like to look for in the participants. Thank God for giving me such a great group.......
And I really look forward to a great relationship with them......
